We want to take a look back on how far we have come and get you ready for where this technology will take us in the future. - Extreme heat recovery with the Alfa Laval GHR
Approximately, 22% of heat from exhaust gases from engines, and gas turbines are getting wasted if we don’t recover it. Our heat transfer solutions make it possible to recover that heat and lower CO2 emissions. The Alfa Laval GHR (gas heat recovery) heat exchanger’s results are impressive and lead to big savings in cost, energy use, and CO2 reduction.

Introducing Alfa Laval HyDuo, a groundbreaking green hydrogen process solution for land-based and offshore installations. This freshwater generation system cools down the electrolyser while simultaneously generating high-quality water, all in one simple process step that eliminates the need for traditional desalination and cooling. - Energy and green hydrogen are precious – Let’s make them count
We offer the most efficient and scalable heat transfer solution to help electrolyser OEMs and green hydrogen-based industries maximize energy efficiency. With our global manufacturing capabilities, long experiences in mass production, and reliability, we can support the industrialization of green hydrogen.
Circularity
- Zero Liquid Discharge – Reuse water, recover value
Demand for ZLD solutions is on the rise, meeting today’s increasing need for circular solutions. Alfa Laval has been leading the way with customised ZLD. Now Alfa Laval has taken the next step on the road to zero liquid discharge with the launch of a new range of modularised systems. - SSAB Fossil-free™ steel, and Concept Zero
Concept Zero is Alfa Laval’s new initiative to produce the world’s first carbon neutral heat exchanger by 2030. To realize this, Alfa Laval has joined a partnership with SSAB, a world leading steel company that will provide the Fossil-free™ steel for Concept Zero. Meet Eva Pétursson, Executive vice president and Head of Research and Innovation at SSAB, in the studio.
